In July, the KasyBag team set off on another trip. This time we visited a piece of Europe. Our trip covered two countries - Poland and Slovakia. The main task was to visit the High Tatras. These mountains are part of the Carpathian system, but look very different. Their shape is more reminiscent of the Alps. Well, here is the highest point in Slovakia and all the Carpathians - Gerlachowski Shtit (2654 m). For a long time they wanted to get into this region and finally got out. Visa-free course contributed to this.
It is very convenient to travel by train Kiev-Przemysl. Only 6 hours and you are already in Poland, and there you are already moving wherever you want.
We went on this trip of course with KasyBag bags. For summer trips, there is plenty of space in them. We didn’t even use all the bags and still left some extra space. This is taking into account the fact that we and I from Ukraine took 21 ЇDLO packages, and it was possible to go light and eat completely on the spot. By the way, prices in Poland and Slovakia are quite affordable and do not hit the wallet. You can buy all the products there.
Our bags have been checked and tested once again. When traveling in Poland, for three days, almost without interruption, rain was pouring. We were completely wet and almost never saw Poland, because everything is overcast and there was no particular desire to stop and sightsee. They just pedaled so as not to freeze. They tested, as it should, the bags for leaks and they coped with this task perfectly. You all come wet for the night, and you have a set of dry clothes. This is so cool!
We really liked the trip itself, in 10 days we visited two countries and wound almost 500 km. Impressed by the local bicycle and tourist infrastructure. A large number of different bike routes, bike paths, signs, information stands, places to relax, etc. Plus, in many cities along the way there are bike shops and workshops.
In most cases, you can spend the night just somewhere in the forest, the main thing is that it should not be any reserve or private territory. In addition, there are campsites at reasonable prices, for only 6 euros per person you get a tent, a hot shower, wi-fi, sockets, what a modern tourist needs.
Because Slovakia and Poland are relatively budgetary countries, then the trip cost us 173 euros per person!
A trip to neighboring countries left pleasant memories. If you want to receive more detailed information, we recommend reading the full, detailed report in our blog.
