Saying that we vouch for the quality of our bags, we first of all take responsibility for the materials that we use for sewing and equipping KasyBag bicycle bags. And these are fabrics, threads, accessories, slings and other auxiliary materials. In this article I will try to briefly, but succinctly explain what materials we use and why exactly them.

Cordura 1000D is a fabric tested over the years and weather conditions, universal, durable and perfect for creating tourist equipment. A few characteristics to start with:
We chose this fabric, because now there is no equal in quality and wear resistance, and these are important parameters for any equipment. Especially for creating a bicycle bag, where the load of all the fastenings and fixations to the bicycle falls on the fabric. The Cordura 1000D performed well on trial versions of our bags, tested all crash tests and weather conditions, and was also tested by time. But we do not stop at finding a fabric that could replace Cordura. Just because we are always looking for something new, easy-going and strong.

Oxford 215D - used in KASYBAG bags as lining material. It is durable, resistant to various conditions, has a water-repellent impregnation and is quite dense. The material in addition to its high quality characteristics has a large color map. Now we sew bags with a red lining, but later we will consider other color options.

Polyester, Rip-Stop 65D - this fabric has found enormous application in our production, due to its water-repellent properties, lightness, strength and wear resistance. From it we sew upper flaps and pockets for bags of feeders, as well as make raincoats for all bags where they are needed. The Rip-Stop 65D fabric is easy to process and pleasant to look at. We can’t ever refuse her, because she’s just super.

PVC 650D made in Spain. It is used not only as the main material for sewing hermetic bags, such as: seatpost bag, front roll bag, narulo bag. But also as an auxiliary material in the front and rear panels for bags. Such a wide range of applications of PVC 650D is revealed in the distinctive strength, density, and waterproofness of this material. What makes it one of the best for creating bicycle bags.
Now on the market there is a fairly large selection of PVC fabrics, but we chose this one because we tried several options and the material from Spain with a density of 650D turned out to be advantageous.
Material Specifications:

Threads - High-strength threads, Turkish company Durak. DURAK TEKSTİLE was founded in 1971 and still produces high-quality, time-tested threads. As auxiliary threads, Nitex is used (fastening, basting seams)
Here are the basic materials from which we sew KasyBag bags.
